Well happy turkey day everybody. I hope that wherever you are you are thankful for something. I am feeling the distraction of the holiday pile up on me. Already I am thinking about eating turkey watching the game and putting lights on the house tomorrow. Meanwhile my homework piles up behind me in an ominous mountain looming to crush me at the week’s end. I will have to do something about that soon.
Let me give you all an update about my living situation and everything new over here in the Denver Metro. I’ve got some new digs! A great uncle of mine passed away and I am serving as the caretaker of his home until the court authorizes the removal of his possessions. This means that I am living in a big house by myself. I just got internet setup so I can bring you more relevantwalk stuff now.
There are only 4 weeks or so left in the semester and I am sprinting to the finish with projects and essays due soon. I’ll let you know when it all pans out.
My brother and I have been mesmerized by the new Wii console lately. I have a hard time justifying getting one for Christmas. Its cool but couldn’t I use something more practical or useful like clothing. The only game I’m really going to play will be Zelda anyway. Its so shiny though! Sometimes its hard living in a land of consumers.
Well everybody, I hope you are spending the day with friends and family. Don’t eat too much!
